Our History

Family Caregivers Network is an independent, PA licensed Home Care Agency through the Department of Health, #17333601. It opened on November 13th, 2000 by Gerry Fioriglio, a registered Nurse & Certified Dementia Practitioner with over 40 years experience in adult and geriatric care. After taking care of her own mother, Gerry noticed a growing need to care for the aging population within her own community. Gerry understands the challenges family members have caring for loved ones at home, as she has been working in home care since 1984. That is why Family Caregivers was built on the philosophy of our C.A.R.E.S. trademark. We not only provide direct care to aging loved ones, but we advocate, provide resources and support to families through our many programs and services.

A great care experience

Compassionate Staff

We train every home caregiver in Alzheimer’s Care, Dementia Care, and End of Life Care. Additionally, they receive training in all other aspects of in-home support services. The educational, care management, and community outreach programs offer families an understanding of caregiving. As a result, this also alleviates caregiver stress. Our competent, skillful, and compassionate home caregivers and home care aides are bonded, insured and supervised by registered nurses. They understand that your family members need to be treated with civility and respect. We want them to feel welcomed in our community because a sense of belonging is important for anyone.

Our Mission

Most important of all, is to help alleviate human affliction by attending to the needs of individuals of the community. We aim to acheive this in a cost-effective manner without discrimination to age, race, sex, color creed, national origin, or handicap.

Our Philosophy

Family Caregivers Network believes that all individuals have true worth. Similarly, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live their lives with dignity and maximum independence. This is regardless of physical, emotional, social, or environmental obstacles.
